Celebration of Volunteers: ‘Our Volunteers Are Gems!’

Volunteers took center stage on March 8th during American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Region’s Celebration of Volunteers, with the theme “Our Volunteers Are Gems,” at Llanerch Country Club in Delaware County. Organized by a committee of staff and volunteers, the event included a buffet lunch, contests and an awards program to recognize outstanding individual volunteer accomplishments for FY 2024. The Red Cross mission would not be possible without the work of our extraordinary volunteers, who comprise 90% of our workforce.

Most award recipients are pictured below with Red Cross Regional CEO Jennifer Graham, Philadelphia Board of Directors Chair Larry Pockers and Delaware Valley Board of Directors Chair Carly Spross. Photos were taken by Red Cross Communications volunteers Donn Greenberg and Bernadette Mathis.
