Virtual Red Ball 2021: Hope Isn’t Cancelled

By Alana Mauger

The American Red Cross Red Ball – a highlight of the Philadelphia social scene for almost two decades – is going virtual! Rather than getting dressed to the nines for a night on the town, Virtual Red Ball 2021, hosted by author and entrepreneur Katie Fehlinger, is coming to you on April 22 from 7-7:30 p.m. Best of all, registration is FREE and is now open at redballphilly.givesmart.com. (There, you can also find donation information, and it’s where the event will stream live on the 22nd.)

Click on the photo below for a video sneak preview of what some of the Virtual Red Ball 2021 will look like.

While the Virtual Red Ball format is new, the lifesaving work of the Red Cross isn’t. Disasters haven’t stopped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past year, the Red Cross has been working daily to provide help and hope after home fires and other local disasters. Your support of Virtual Red Ball 2021 provides funding for Red Cross Disaster Relief in Southeastern Pennsylvania, including the operation of the Red Cross House in Philadelphia, which provides housing and recovery services for disaster survivors.
